Conference theme

The professional responsible for designing and populating terminological resources is the terminographer. Producing new terminological resources requires eclectic research skills. The design and implementation phases involve a thorough preliminary analysis of the information needs of the potential user and an accurate assessment of the structural requirements of the resource.
In this context, the second international conference on “Digital terminology today. Design, representation formats and management systems” aims to bring together specialists in the disciplines of terminology, terminography, computational terminology, specialized lexicography, computational linguistics, NLP, in order to share methodological reflections on design approaches, representation formats and management systems of the digital terminology collected in the terminological resources.

Submissions

Research papers describing original ideas on the listed topics and/or on other fundamental aspects of digital terminology are solicited.
In this conference papers must be in the 3 - 5 pages range excluding references.
The papers will go through a double-blind review process. Therefore, we invite all the authors to anonymize their papers.
The languages of the papers can be English, French, and Spanish.

Papers must be in the CEUR-ART single-column style.

Authors must submit their papers via CMT Microsoft at the following link MDTT 2024.


The accepted papers will be published on the online open-access platform CEUR-WS. It is mandatory that at least one author of each accepted paper registers to the conference to present the work and have the paper published in the proceedings.

The submission deadline is December 22 2023 (23:59 Anywhere on Earth Time).



Post-Conference Selected Papers Publication

The authors of the accepted contributions to the conference will be invited to submit an extended version of the paper for a journal or a volume. More information will be announced during the conference.
